Course contents: Distributed databases. Databases and XML. OLAP. Object relational databases. Spatial and spatiotemporal data management. Constraint databases. Semantic web. RDF and SPARQL. Data models and query languages for linked data. Anonymity and privacy.

Assessment: Written exercises and implementation of a project during semester and written exams at the end of the semester. The final grade results in by taking into account the respective marks of exercises (up to 60%), project (up to 40%) and final examination (up to 60%).
