Short Bio:

Kostas Peppas received the Dipl. – Ing. and Dr. – Ing. degrees in Electrical Engineering both from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, in 1997 and 2004, respectively. From 2010-2014, Dr Peppas has been affiliated with the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications, National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, working in the areas of wireless communications as a post doctoral researcher. In 2014, he joined the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Peloponnese, where he is currently a faculty member. His current research interests include Wireless Networks, Digital Communications over Fading Channels, MIMO systems, Cooperative Communications, System Level Performance Evaluation of Wireless Systems, Smart Antennas, Optical Wireless Communications, Cognitive Radio, Digital Signal Processing and Applied Mathematics. Dr. Peppas is the author or co-author of over 60 journal and conference papers in the above areas. Dr Peppas is a Senior Member of the IEEE, the IEEE Communications Society and the Technical Chamber of Greece. Dr Peppas acts as a Reviewer for several international journals and conferences (including the IEEE and The Institute of Engineering and Technology). He has also been a member of the Technical Program Committee (TPC) of several international conferences.
