Short Bio:

Spiros Skiadopoulos is currently a Professor at Dept. of Informatics and Telecommunications at University of Peloponnese. He received a diploma and a PhD degree from the National Technical University of Athens and a MPhil degree from Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). His is an experienced researcher that has worked in a variety of areas including databases, anonymity and privacy, knowledge representation and reasoning. His current research interests include big data management and processing (e.g., very large graph, string and time series data). He has an internationally acknowledged scientific contribution that includes several publications in journals and conferences. Moreover, he had served in the program committee of several venues and participated in various research and development projects. He also maintains many collaborations with scientist and research and academic institutions all over the globe.
